For example dragonfly and mosquito larvae are found near water while caterpillars are found near plants and moist areas.
Very big moth was caught laying eggs on the patio screen not sure exactly what kind of moth this is or how old but it is definitely the biggest one i have e.

I agree with michael they re likely not spider eggs.
The mother lays the eggs in an area she feels the eggs will hatch be safe and find plenty of food.
When i went to wipe them off they were crusty and smeared on the window.
